Initiative budgeting as the main direction of increasing transparency of municipal budget expenditures
Abstract
The article discusses the advantages of implementing a system of initiative budgeting in municipalities, including from the point of view of implementing the principle of transparency (openness) of local budget expenditures. An algorithm for implementing initiative projects in the current budget legislation is proposed.
