Trends in the development of pension systems: prerequisites and trends

Abstract
The article deals with the current issues of the development of pension systems. The author, exploring the prerequisites for their reform, analyzes the changes in the economy and social sphere not only in Russia, but also in the world, since such phenomena as the development of technologies, communications, the introduction of digital technologies and the restrictions that were caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are characteristic of all countries, regardless of their geographical location, social formation and economic development. The article identifies the main trends in the development of pension systems.
