Transport tax in Russia: new approaches to calculation

Abstract
The quantitative characteristics of passenger transport in the Novosibirsk region and the amount of the accrued transport tax are investigated. The analysis of the taxation of passenger cars is carried out. Some aspects of imperfection and inefficiency of motor transport taxation are shown. Recommendations for changing the taxation system of road transport are presented.
