Abstract

The article discusses theoretical and methodological aspects of the prospects for expanding the participation of foreign capital in the country's banking sector. Foreign investment is now important for any economy, both developed and developing. For developing countries, they are a determining factor in the internationalization of the country's economy. The importance and relevance of attracting foreign resources is primarily due to the rather slow development of the domestic market for investment resources, as well as certain difficulties and problems in attracting credit funds. It is assumed that in the future foreign banks will take a key place in the country's financial market, which contributes to the further development of economic ties. The aim of the study is to study the role and importance of foreign capital in the development of the banking system on the example of the Kyrgyz Republic and the prospects for expanding the participation of foreign capital in the country's banking sector.
